TAPS-NA, The chemical name is N - [Tris (hydroxymethyl) methyl] -3-aminopropanesulfonic acid sodium salt, which is an important biological buffering agent. Its CAS number is 91000-53-2, molecular formula C7H16NNaO6S, and molecular weight reaches 265.26. This compound exists in the form of a white powder, is easily soluble in water, and has good stability and buffering properties. The pH range of TAPS-NA's acid-base indicator for color change is between 7.7 and 9.1, with an acidity coefficient (pKa) of 8.4 (at 25 ºC), making it an indispensable tool in biochemical experiments and molecular biology research.
